Embedding a link inside XML

I want to embed a link inside an XML document, say <a href=&quot;

http://www.msdn.microsoft.com&quot;>MSDN</a>.

But when I do this I received an error that my XML document is not well formed or this kind of embedding is not permitted.

Maybe some of you guys know some trick or two to help me out. I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. jhonArmour

Maybe a step back...

<link href=&quot;

http://www.msdn.microsoft.com&quot;>MSDN</link>

Then your XSL file could convert <link> elements to anchor elements. I'm also unsure about the ; after the url. that might be causing part of the problem.
