Embedding a file into MS Access OLE Object field programmatically

I have done quite a bit of searching for the answer to this question, but I'm still getting errors.

I have a VB 6.0 application that needs to add files to an MS Access database. I have set up the DB with a single table with two columns, a key field and an OLE Object field. I need to add Snapshot (*.snp) files from a directory into the table without user interaction. I need to embed the files in the table, not just link them. Can anyone give me some pointers or a code snippet?
