Hi anyone know if I can convert my embedded installation to VmPro on UC110. What I mean is I have alot of personal recordings, auto attendant and hunt group Voicemail greetings. Can I copy these greetings onto the VmPro? Would save a lot of time on setup.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it's just one example of a shortsighted approach to doing things on Avaya's behalf, one of many :)

Yeah, there is no *official* way to do it, but there is a secret tool for converting those .clp files to wav files. It's still a manual process of downloading them all from the lvmail directory and converting them, but then you don't have to re-record them. I can tell you the name of the program, but I cannot tell you where to get it. sysmondb. that is all I can say.

i would setup a module where users can record there greetings easy.
you need a day where users can listen to there current messages ans greetings and voicemails being left.
then do the move to vmpro and your job is done.

Yeah...it's not really available. I have it. I don't know what the protocol for making it available is, however.

I would do as peter said. It's a new vm system; why not make everything fresh! Good times.
