I have an IP Office 500 V2 with the new SD Voicemail card. The system has analogue trunks connected. I have setup an Auto Attendant to answer all calls then press a key to be routed to a Hunt Group. If the external caller hangs up before someone answers on the IP Office the system keeps ringing the handsets.

I have tested the same system going straight into a Hunt Group and bypassing the AutoAttend and the call disconnects fine.

It looks like the Auto Attendant is not releasing the call can anyone give advice.

Thanks

Switch to digital lines....?
Does your analog trunks support reliable disconnect?
If not then the call will ring at least five seconds after the caller has hung up because IPO "listens" if it hears a disconnect tone wich has to be there for five seconds.

Happily enough we don't have analog lines here anymore and in a few years IDSN will be replaced with SIP trunks.

I would like the customer to have ISDN or SIP but it is not my decision.
