Embedded Voicemail Question

Hi,

I'm changing our 406 v1 to a v2 with an embedded voicemail card this weekend. While I don't imagine too many problems with that, i was wondering if is possible in some way to transfer voicemail messages from our existing voicemail pro to the embedded voicemail?

Why the hell would you ditch a VM Pro that you have already paid for to buy another, less feature rich vm, in the Embedded???? That is just silly!!!!

To answer your question, no.

Just stick with the VM Pro.

Also, 406v2's are disconntinued now. If you are upgrading, get an IP500

I don't think so as messages on Embedded are compressed on recording and uncompressed for playback while VM Pro is just a straight WAV file

There is a possibility of new features only working on the IP500.

Company won't fork out for it and they got a v2 on the cheap

Although I didn't know that the v2 was discontinued. Is that quite recent? I might try and persuade them back to getting a 500 now that the v2 is finished...

It is still supported and will be for a while. How long the newest s/w will go on it is anybodys guess.

It was discontinued last week I believe.

We haven't sold a 406 for over a year.
