Embedded Voicemail messages cutting off 1

Have an IP Office 8.0(44), Essential Edition and of course Embedded Voicemail.
Customer receives complaints that when callers are leaving messages, they get cut off. Sometimes early on in the message(10-15 seconds) sometimes further in (20-30 seconds). Not all calls but ever so often.
I have not been able recreate the issue myself but I don't think they are lying either.
Customers don't stretch the truth, do they?
 
I have the exact same issue. Very inconsistent. Sometimes cuts them off after 30 to 45 seconds of talking, other times the system tells them "I'm sorry, I can't record your message right now" (or close to that).
 
Make the customer delete any old messages, the card could be getting full and hasn't gone through maintenance mode to delete all old/unsaved messages. Think it completes it every 24 hours.
 
For me, the system is new and users don't have virtually any messages in their boxes (only 8 users).
 
No offense but, it's no consolation knowing I'm not the only one having this problem. lol
But I contacted our guys at Catalyst and they informed me that that software revision had a known issue with cut offs. I've upgraded and now "we'll see".
 
No offense taken, but my post wasn't meant to be a digital sympathy card :) I find sometimes knowing you are not the only one having the issue helps you determine whether it's software, hardware, global or unique to you.
 
No problem jk. I upgraded my customer to 8.0(46) and so far so good.
 
Interesting. I was on 8.1(52) having the issue and just upgraded last night to 8.1(56), hoping that might help. From this, it sounds like (if it is a software issue) it still exists up through 8.1(52) at least.
 
That should do it. When I asked if I should go all the way up to 8.1(52), was informed that I would want to go on up to 8.1(56) like you. But I didn't want to have to purchase the upgrade. You should be ok if my support guys were right.
 
So far so good on 8.1(56) for eliminating the voicemail cutoff. I think your support guys hit the nail on the head.
 
There is no upgrade licence between maint releases though, only major/minor versions :)

 
I got the same problem with release 8.044.

If i upgrade to 8.046 will this fix it?

8.0(51) is the latest give it a shot couldn't hurt

I have 8.0(63) loaded and in the last two months I've only had two messages that got cut off - likely it was on the customer's end, as both were cell phones calling in. This equates to about a 99% reduction in cut-offs.
 
This issue has been resolved in the latest Avaya Maintenance Releases.
