I configured the messaging embedded a CXII version 5.0. When I login as admin to adjust the length of the internal number (2 to 6) if I select 2, the system answers me that the facility is not permitted.
But if I Selected the 3,4,5,6 it works.

You probably have an ARS issue. If you try to change to 2 digits it will try to make the Admin MBox 99 and if you have ARS digits 99 it will error out. This is why it would allow you to have 999+. Do a locate number 99 from the maintenance command line and see what comes up.

I'm pretty sure, let's say 99.999%, that the admin mailbox is not considered a dialable number on the 3300 and as such would not conflict with any dialable numbers - ever.

I have tested a number of configurations:
-With and without ARS
-With and without extensions
-With and without mailboxes
-Created Hunt group as 99

I have not been able to reproduce the scenario that you are explaining. What else do you have configured on the system?
Can you go to the maintenance command and run LOCATE NUMBER 99 and see if anything comes up?

Yes I was able to change voicemail to 2 digits and assign a vm box to the user as well. I am running 11.0.2.19

Sounds like you may be changing the passcode length (which can be 3 to 6) and not the mailbox length.
Are you pressing 1 for a new installation when you log into the admin mailbox?
