I have a Small Office 4 X 8 running 4.1 and have installed the embeded voice mail card in the system. I have unloaded the prompts and added an auto attendant to the system . When I route the incomming line to the AA it answers the line but does not say anything. If It access the AA I can record the message only on the *8101 not any of the ove four attendants. I have created a short code to the aa and get the same results.

Thank You

Just in case you are not aware but the default greeting prompt for embedded voicemail AA is *814, menu options.

What version do you use?!
Maybe you can program a button "visual voice" under Emulation -> Visual Voice.

greetzzz...Bas

did you upgrade your vm? I had a strange probleme on release
4.0.10 and need to upgrade the prompts

you are probably ringing through, getting the AA initial prompt (morning , afternoon evening) depending on the time of day (not changeable).

so if you ahve recorded the *8101 greeting but are ringing after 12pm then you will be played the *8201 greeting which you haven't recorded.

Each greeting is played before the *8401 which should be your menu options, 1 for sales, etc.
