How can you tell what version the embedded voice mail is

I dont know exactly how, I suppose it`s depend on software version and Compact Flash Card.
I know how you can upgrade embedded voice mail through Compact Flash Card inside IP Office.

Greeting from Croatia!!

Once upgraded to Embedded VM 4.0, is there any going back to 3.2? I want to downgrade, because with 4.0 I cannot set night/oos groups by utilizing the traditional method whereby I have groups with single users who are set to forward unconditional to a short code that points to an AA.

Or, will a 3.2.55 system work with an embedded card that has been upgraded to 4.0?

If you look at the upgrade batchfile there are only 3 additional prompts added for each language when upgrading the embeddedvm from 3.2 to 4.0:

call :sendfile %1 %%d\SVM_24.c11
call :sendfile %1 %%d\SVM_26.c11
call :sendfile %1 %%d\MNU_11.c11

So in I would think that a upgraded card should still work on 3.2 as the original 3.2 soundfiles are still there only 3 per language added during the upgrade process.

Try and let us know.

The upgrade actions for embedded voicemail just add new prompts needed by any new features.

The actual code for the embedded operation is part of the IP Office core, so you changing the IP Office core changes embedded voicemail.

The message format itself hasn't changed for yonks so that isn't affected by upgrading/downgrading the IP Office core.
