We are having a strange occurrence
2 sites running 2 different versions 4.2 SP2 and 5.0 same problem.

Embedded vmail user sets mobile number as cell phone personal contact.
Other user dials their ext ( diverts to vmail ) selects 2 and call tries to dial then recalls back to Users vmail greeting .
if user changed option to be a speedcall then it works and call diverts to cell.

Speedcall is NOT set to override toll control.

Have checked interconnects ( no restrictions) , COR group looks ok
Have set user to same cor as vmail and tried both transfer methods - both work.
its acting like vmail ports dont like dialling the longer number ?

Just checking other posts
- I have also checked that
COS for Vm Ports has allow Public Network to Public Network connections.
Check COR to be sure it is allowed to dial the number.
COS of the VM port be sure that the accunt code length is set to the number of digits of your extension length.
COS of vm ports has Non-Verified Account Code enabled

I have set an ip phone to the same cos and cor as the vmail ports and I can do an unsupervised transfer to same number.

I suspect you have a digit conflict somewhere.

You can verify this by dialing the cell number. If it waits a couple of seconds to actually hit the trunk then that would be your problem.

I not sure you can do this but try this: add a '#" (hash mark) to the end of the dial number.

Does the Account code length in the COS of the VM match the extension length of the VM ports? (A MUST)

Do you have any special characters in the VM Extensions (* or # - A MUST NOT)

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

The COR should not be an issue as the vm port is dialing a system speedcall set the speedcall to toll override.
Be careful about opening CoR and Cos on VMail ports as you could leave yourself open to phreaking.

Share what you know - Learn what you don't

DryAquaman- Won't be the COR due to his testing with a real phone with the same settings. My bet is on the account code length.

Unfortunately not.

YES Account code length = 4 , ext length = 4 vm port length =4

Do you have any special characters in the VM Extensions (* or # - A MUST NOT)
NO no special characters in VM extensions

The COR should not be an issue as the vm port is dialing a system speedcall set the speedcall to toll override.

setting cell phone option as system speed dial works ( even if toll restriction is not overridden) I want the users to be able to set their own cell phone number - this does not work

Not sure what you mean by dialling conflict ? My ars is fixed length for the mobile number, If i dial it or transfer a call to it , the trunk is selected straight away and call proceeds. If I set the VM to use a speed dial , same thing.
its only is the vm option 2 is set to access code mobile ( same data as is set for the speeddial)that the call fails - the trunk is not even selected [/b}

The symptoms strongly indicate an issue with the Non-Verified account code.

This being the case the voicemail will successfully dial any number 7 digits or less (considered internal and not requiring Acct Code)

This is why the speedcall works but the ARS entry does not.

With your test that you made earlier I would assume that you did not enter an account code. I would suggest that you try that test again but enter an account code before dialling the external digits.

Ok Ext 8009 - set with COS and cor as per vmail ports
ext 8010 calls 8009 - 8009 answers , press transfer , dials 0 for outside line , then mobile , mobile answers. 8009 press superkey , selects account code enter 8888 , press save , select no for verified , then release me to release the call

The voicemail would enter the Account code before dialing by using the FAC.

Do you have a FAC programmed for Non-Verified Account codes

Finally found the fix for this - we deleted the feature access code for non verified account ccode and now it works fine

????

I would not think it would work without a code. Weird.
