We are using multiple mailboxes for our ACD queues.
is there a way of listening to the greeting without calling the number?
at the moment the Queue is in day mode and calls are being delivered , if i night switch the number is rerouted to vmail and goes into the appropriate mailbox.
What i need to know is what the message is.
If i access the admin for the mailbox and choose 8 and 4 - it erases the message ?

Might not be the easiest but it'll work

Well you can access the voicemail messages through vmworks. Might be able to get the greetings that way to.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

Use filezilla to ftp to the 3300
Log in to system
navigate to
/d/vm/int
You will see files like below copy them to your local PC
int3504.vox
You will need a suitable player for VOX files
I use Acarda voxplayer it is free you should be able to play them and locate the one you need

I assume that the rads are in there somewhere as well?

can you help with the folder for them

navigate to
/d/vm
You will see files like below
RAD001.VOX

Ok Im back again , this time i want to get to the Vmail opening greetings , have checked through all the vox files in the above directories , it doesnt seem to be there , is it hidden somewhere else

I believe you might find it in the /vmail directory.

in /vmail i have 4 txt files
vmail1.tar.txt
vmail2.tar.txt
vmail3.tar.txt
vmail4.tar.txt

also folders c
d
paf
temp
vpim

I have browsed through these looking for vox files but cant find one that has the Opening greeting

Keep digging. In folder C or D. (I'd bet on D)

I know all the greetings and Names for personal mailboxes are there so it seems likely the system greeting will be too.

how much will you bet , cos its not there :-(

I suppose I should tell you where it is then since you have not been able to find them

navigate to /c/vm/prompts/english.uk or to whichever language you are using it could be /c/vm/prompts/english or /c/vm/prompts/english.ov

the 2 files you are afer are pday.vox and pnight.vox
pday is Primary day pnight is primary night

If you have alternative day & night greetings then I think they are a1day.vox & a1night.vox (I am guessing a bit here as I don't have a controller with alternative greeting set on)
