Just upgraded an IPO to R11.1 with IP office embedded VM. When they try to transfer a VM to another user by doing 6 the 2 then enter then ext number we get action failed. This is new since the upgrade and was wondering if anyone else has run into this?

That's a bit vague. What are the 6 an 2 you are referring to?

The options when in the mailbox, press 6 to transfer the message or forward it then 2 to address it to the ext.

Okay. That one I can't test. I am working from home and don't have an R11.1 IPO.

Alternatively, If you need to transfer a voicemail to another user, you can setup voicemail to email and just send the Wav file. You can also give other users access to the User's personal voicemail or just setup huntgroups and have all users collect the same voicemail.

Or.
Setup Visual Voice, you can select send to, enter extension and send.

I have a ticket opened with Avaya and will keep you informed.

Turns out this was an issue with the 1416 phones not upgrading properly. Once I got them upgraded the problem went away. seems the issue is that without the upgrade the system either sees a double button press or no press at all.
