Embedded sound with playlist

I am trying to create a page where the user can select a song from a menu and have the song play embeded on the site. I though of using a select box, but is there a way to pass a path to a new song to the player without having to load a whole new page?

I wrote a little Flash widget a while back that let you add a paramater to it's url and would play an MP3 associated with that parameter when you clicked it. You could have as many of them as you wanted on the page.

Would that be of use?
