What is the best way to setup a DISA trunk on an embedded PRI module on an SX200 ICP v5?

I tried following the tech docs and assigned a T1 E&M DISA circuit discriptor to a trunk (#23 for example) and assigned the DID string to the DISA access code. It seems to be working. How would the incoming call known to be routed to that trunk? It seems to be going to trunk 1 by looking at SMDR instead of trunk 23 which is the DISA. All incoming calls start on trunk 1 and outgoing trunk 22.

I am trying to figure out the best practices. I setup account codes verified and special disa. I was able to make an outgoing call only when the COS in form 33 is set to any COS as our desk phones but when I change it to COS of the PRI trunks it will not dial outgoing calls. Opt 808 Special DISA and 200 Accont code forced entry don't seem to make a bit of difference when they are enabled or not on the COS of the PRI trunks. The only thing that seems to matter to make it work for outgoing is setting up an account code in form 33.

To make things more confusing (for me anyway) I deleted trunk 23 which was assigned to the t1 E&M DISA circuit discriptor and dialing that DID I still get a dial tone and can make internal and external calls without opt 808 or 200 enabled on any PRI trunks or desk phones.

Nonetheless I have it working, just want to know how it SHOULD be setup. I may not have explained myself very well but let me know if I need to clarify anything.

Thank you.

you do not assign a digital trunk as a DISA trunk. These options are for analog trunks only.

You simply assign a DISA code that matches a DID number and it works (as you have seen)
