Hi
I have successfully uploaded a couple of WAC files in the past and used them in Rad greetings. Now however I seem not to be able to Poland any more as the system tells me I have insufficient space.
However in my embedded music sources I have
'Free space -271 of 16000 Kb (-33 of 2000 secs)
Then
Audio source 0 - empty
Source 1 - with 1185 Kb
Source 2 - empty
Source 3 - with 1360 kb
All other source id's empty too.
When I try to upload from system audio files into source 0 or 2 I get a message that there is insufficient space.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It seems like the space from deleted files hasn't been freed up.

Many thanks

WAC files not 'WAC' ! And thanks to predictive text for Poland instead of 'upload' !

Are you trying to poland Music or Rad WAC files?

you may need to manually delete old files

I am trying to upload music in wav file format to use as rad greetings. I have deleted everything (I think) except the two wav files as shown in my previous post. Where else do I need to delete from apart from in embedded music sources?

Thanks

RAD Greetings are not typically used as music

RADs play messages and then music on hold until next rad greeting

RADs are stored in a different location than the Music Files /vmail/d/vm (Accessible via FTP)

Music is stored in /db/eMOH

Sorry - I think I didn't make myself clear. We have Rad greetings set up and these aren't the problem. In between the greetings we have set (via the path assignment) music to play. This is selected from one of the embedded media sources and this is what I am having trouble with.

I cannot upload a new wav file and I don't know why as I only have 2 old ones on the system (see my original post).

Are you familiar enough with the system to FTP into the system and check the folders I've mentioned?

If not, I can't help you.

I have an idea about it - I guess you mean I should FTP into /db/eMOH and delete any old files?

I now have a mitel engineer on site who has no idea how to FTP!!!

How do I go about accessing through FTP - I just tried via cute FTP to the switch IP address but it won't let me in as it needs a username and password and I have tried all the ones I know..l.

I use Filezilla - Very Easy

I have now accessed the system via FTP but don't see a path /db/
I can access
Dspconfig
Esm browsedlg_applet
Esm FTP (plus 2 other similar)
Globalisation
Install
Latest
Script
Symbol
Tftp
Webs

Am i looking in the right place?
Cheers

The system defaults to the \sysro directory

You need to change directories
