i am trying to create a link on my intranet to a semi protected site on our web page (i say semi because there is one pass for our customers and there isnt anything on it that is too sensitive, its just wholesale pricing for our wholesale customers)

anywho from our intranet i want a link that just says pricing and the link is this <a href='it works in mozilla and IE6 but not in IE7... wtf
is it some "Security" feature they added to IE7?

is there a workaround?

thnx

Yep, it is seen as a security issue...giving password in clear text.

Why don't you just link to the login page and pass the username and password and any other info as hidden input strings or even as a query string if it is internal.

Then grab them on the page and log them in.
