Hi,
I would like to embed Windows media player in to a word document for example or web page. Can this be done using vb so when you read a document pdf, etc etc the video plays on the screen?

Apologfies if this is a daft question!

Many Thanks.

A.

A,

Yes, this can be done. You don't even need VB/VBA if all you want is minimal control. I added the Windows Media Player control to a second page of a Word document, set the Filename property, saved everything, closed then re-opened the document. When Page 2 (in this case) was scrolled to, the video clip began to play. Of course, you can also use VB/VBA for greater control, setting properties, responding to events, etc. Microsoft has a KB article on how to do this for PowerPoint, but it works for Word docs as well. The link is:

Hope this helps.
Mike
