When I create a pdf from CD8, how do I embed the fonts? I don't see a way to do it from within Corel. Do I need Acrobat?

Newer versions of Draw have much better pdf support than V8 but for the most flexible way to produce pdf is Acrobat or Jaws pdf Creator at a fraction of the price, both will install a "printer Driver" which you print to, both have preset options for screen/print/press/web output which will embed, compress as required and best of all it is like printing to a printer so you see it in your print preview before it goes. Acrobat enables you to export pdf to eps which is handy sometimes but producing pdfs then Jaws is good value for money. Look for Jaws - Global Systems on the Internet.

Thanks. My printing plant has always worked from native .cdr files, but I'm making a switch and I think I need to get into the new century! I didn't know about Jaws. Sounds as if it might be a good way to go.
