The email server is pop3 and using office outlook 2007.
email accounts that ends with .org and .edu undelivered with error message, The following recipient(s) cannot be reached followed by the email address, the date and the time.

POP3 is a message COLLECTION protocol. SMTP is the protocol for sending messages.

Is the mail being routed via a server? (in Account properties -> outgoing server.

Just for clarification, as you saying you cannot send to organizations with SMTP domains that end in .org and/or .edu?

Please post the entire NDR message. I'm wondering if this is a DNS issue where it can't find MX records for those domains.

The company use outside ISP pop3 mail server and I checked the SMTP configuration in outlook and is correct because not all emails on that workstation are returned but only these few .org or .edu emails.
I tested those emils in question on another workstaion and successfully delivered so the problem is local to that workstation.
I was expecting the SMTP server to give a meaningful explanation to the returned mail such as a spelling mistake or a wrong doman name but this just simple say email did not reach recipient.
I suggest uninstall the symantec antivirus and run full scan malwarebytes and see the results but if you can think of any possible cause will be appreciated.

do both workstations have EXACTLY the same outgoing server (SMTP) configuration.

The incoming server (POP3) configuration is NOT important as it has NO BEARING on the problem.
