Emails sent in japanese

Emails sent via outlook in japanese to japan are coming out as ??? when they are received. This is happening to all recipients in japan.

I have read somewhere about installing IME, but surly this will only apply to windows 9x/me users who are using OE?

Windows 2000 sp3
Office 2000 osr-1 (with japanese language pack installed)

I believe that this is the users problem. Even though you sent the email in Japanese, the use must also have the SAME language pack installed on their PC in order to read your email.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
