I have a user who recently traveled. while traveling he accessed his email via a network connection and dial-up. He is now back but when an automated email is sent to a distro list (daily), all receive the message except for him. He gets it about 3 days later. He receives all other email without delay.

Please help!!!

while he was in CA, he would sync his mail to his laptop from the network...not dial-up. Later that night he would compose all of his emails. The next day he would reconnect to the network, again...not dial-up, and then resync, getting his new mail and sending the ones he had composed.

thanks

Update...as it turns out, he is rcving the emails. If i open his mailbox in addition to mine (we are on seperate servers) the emails are there w/correct date and time. If i open his mailbox w/its own profile the emails are dated 3 days prior and 3 hours later...i.e. if email came in on 1 Feb at 1am it shows up as 29 Jan 4am in his mailbox. The emails in question are sent from a Bindview workstation and get sent to a distro list. All others rcv the emails fine. All other emails in his inbox have correct date and time.

Take a look at the time zone settings on his system. Perhaps they are set to a time-zone other than what it should be.

Da Ruster.

not so...it is also 3 days off, not just 3 hours off. if it were a TZ issue, more users on the Exchange svr would be complaining. if it were a TZ issue with the WS sending the emails, all in the distro list would be getting the same incorrect times/dates. if it were a TZ issue on the guys WS, why would i get the incorrect dates/times...and only on those emails sent from the Report WS?
thanks for the info, but that was the first thing i checked.

I have the same problem only mine is 4 hour increments.
It is really strange. The only other correlation that I
have is that our system was orginally set up to go out
every four hours and pull mail back to be distributed. Once
everyone was up and running it goes out every 15 minutes
but for some reason it will not always distribute all.
Mine has funny times also. If you find answer let us know.
