Emails appear in sent box which has not been sent

Hello all,

I have several users who have a small problem with groupwise 5.5. Tey seem to have emails in there sent box which they have not sent. Any help would be great.
 
By chance have their Sent Items folders ever been deleted before?? If you or someone else recreated the folder maybe the settings were wrong. Just a guess. Try to compare the View Display Settings between a good Sent Items and one that has the problem.

The Sent Item folder is a predefined filter, users seem to delete this folder alot when they are not watching the selection focus. Basically its a search result folder, if youll notice the Sent Folder has a magnifying glass on it. Which is a view of their mail and not container for their actual mail objects. You can delete it, recreate it, and the sent mail a person had in their before will reappear. If this is GW5.5, you can right click their name in Groupwise above mailbox and choose New Folder, Click the Find Results Folder, then Predefined filter. Choose Sent Items choice. This will make the folder/filter the way its suppose to be made.
