Hi

I email a colleague word document. It is an invoice. When my colleague receives it, the invoice layout has been dislodged.

The values are over one column, and the last line on the invoice goes on to another page.

His page set up is the same, as mine. Also the document is set using test boxes.

If anyone can help with reasons why, or a solution that would be great.

We have used text boxes to create an invoice. So our address is in one text box, the clients in another, the products purchased in another.

So, we have a three boxes, with a blck outline.

What would you suggest is the better solution, in word?

Textboxes are what you use when you have no other choice. If you want to email me one of your docs, I'll lay it out, have it look the same way, WITHOUT textboxes.

Paragraph formatting, i.e., text alignment, indentation, etc., is what you ought to be using to layout an invoice like that...
