Sorry for what might be a naive question, but I'm a new owner of an IP Office 500. Is there any way (or purchase software) that will convert .wav files to .mp3 prior to emailing them as attachments. Emailing mp3 (or other compressed audio) would make the files much smaller and faster to push around. Any suggestions?

I have a customer who did this. He does something on his exchange server to convert them before they get emailed out. THere is no way i know of in the IPO to do it so you would want to look at the mail server side of it.

That's sort of what I was thinking of doing. My thought was to have all the VM emails go to a specific email address. But, I'll need to look at the details of the email to see if there is enough info in the header to determine which user it was really intended for. There are some other opions, but all harder.

We're getting our IP Office installed to tom'w so I'll put this off for a while.
