I need to email a UNIX box directly from an Exchange 2003 mail account where the UNIX box has sendmail configured to accept and send SMTP but is not a registered email server i.e. no MX record or FQDN.
Can it be done and if so how???
The UNIX box can email the Exchange but the Exchange cannot recognise the UNIX box. It has an A record in our internal DNS but nothing else.
