Emailing Reports

I have the Email set up correctly and working. I run the scheduled report and have it set to email the report as text.

All that works fine, except now the CEO does not want to open an attachment; he wants to have the report embedded in the email so he does not have to open another document. I can't find anything that handles this.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

It never ceases to amaze me the incompetence of Management. ONE extra click. Wow.... What is it? Lazy? Incompetence? Too Busy?

Rather than an email attachment, why not send it directly to his printer? Then the ID-Ten-T (ID10T) doesn't even have to click on an email! All he has to do is have one of his worker bees make sure the printer has paper.

To answer your question directly, no, I know of no way to embed a report into the body of an email.

If you exported as Word you might then be able to paste it coherently into an e-mail, I've never tried.

My Visual CUT software allows you to schedule report exporting/emailing and with TEXT or HTML export formats, if you leave the message body blank, it automatically embeds the report export into the email message body.
