On a local pc, I'm trying to configure report server so that I can e-mail a report to my personal yahoo e-mail account. In the Credentials tab of the datasource, I'm using Windows Authentication. But when I try to create a new subscription I get the error: "The current action cannot be completed because the user data source credentials that are required to execute this report are not stored in the report server database. (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)"

I tried following the instructions in: but that results in an error in the Application Log stating: The configuration file contains an element that is not valid. The Authentication element is not a configuration file element.

I've set the e-mail settings in the report server configuration to the yahoo smtp account.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What about storing the datasourse and catalog info in the report and either selecting the windows authentication option or entering a generic 'read only' user name and pw?
