I have a client table with a field containing email addresses. I am wondering if it is possible to email selected clients directly from this table through an email platform such as Outlook ?

Yes, this is possible, but I would go with CDO for Windows 2000 and later because it is not dependent on the presence of a specific e-mail client being installed on the local machine. All you need is access to an SMTP server, either locally or on the net.
