I am trying to setup emailing on the BCS. Our environement is Notes Servers (outlook and notes clients) some exchange servers. We are slowly migrating to exchange servers with outlook client. we have brio ods/bcs/insight/explorer. NT server and would like to email. Help!

Emailing and the Brio BCS

All that needs doing is :
1) Check in the NT services and see which user is set to run the Broadcast Server service....This must NOT be set to 'run as system account'
2) Make sure that there is a valid Outlook Client on the Brio server.
3) The user mentioned in point 1) MUST be a valid exchange user with its own Mail Account and you should be able to send mail as that user when logged onto the server as that person.
4) In the Broadcast Server preferences (reached by the administrator tool) under mail settings......choose Microsoft Exchange.
5) In here select the profile (and password if needed) for that user.
6) Apply the changes and then stop and start the Broadcast server service.
7) To test this, register a Broadcast Server job and select notification and type in a valid email address.
