if it was something legal, you could send a password protected (for editing) Word document with what you want to say.....
but again, they could copy and paste that into a new one and edit it then....(but they might not think of that)
If you are sending to a Yahoo or Hotmail account, the original message in their Inbox cannot be edited, but if they reply or forward, then there is nothing you can do.
A mail sent to Outlook can be edited in the Inbox, so that it will give the impression that you sent that.
This is done by opening the received message and going to Edit->Edit Message the receiver can then change the message as he/she wishes...
Why not revert to the old fashioned way....a signed or hand written letter! nothing they can do about that!!! LOL Jay~
I agree, a recipient can always forward your messages with or without changes.
However, you can use digital signatures for origin authentication.
Outlook Express and many other email clients support that,
or you can use 3rd party products like PGP.
Read your mail client help and web-site for details and howto.
Note that the recipient must also participate in this.
