What we would like done is every time we send an email to a certain individual it either gets kept in an exchange mail box that every one could pull up and see what so and so said to this person or anyone that sent an email to this person.

is there an easier way to do this? I was thinking WSS 3.0 but I am not sure how to integrate that with email.

Any help would be appreciated.

you can do it only for certain accounts that send to a certain person only?

i don't think journaling is what i am looking for. I don't want to archive everyone's email into one account. Just when someone sends an email to a certain person I would like that email copied to a mailbox and then I would like everyone to open that mailbox up in Outlook and see what everyone in our company has sent to this one person.

I have never tried this but you could create a mail enabled security group add the users that need access to the mailboxes inbox and apply the mailbox rights to that mailbox for that security group. Then instruct the users to open the mailbox from within Outlook.

Put that user in their own storage group. Enable journaling, and set the journal mailbox to be a mail enabled public folder.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

wouldn't i need exchange enterprise to create a new storage group with a new mailbox store?
