I tested AVG by sending myself an email I recieved on a work computer. The email is "Sexy Screen Saver" with the USA.scr attachment. AVG certifies it virus clean both incoming and outgoing. Is this a miss by AVG? Or is this not a virus? I was 99% sure it was a virus.

It did need updating, although I had it set to Auto Update. Apparently it only checks for updates every "x" number of days you specify. I assumed that it would check every day and download if neccessary. At least now I know. It did catch it.
When the party worm was going around, I had been out of town for a week or so. I got home and checked my mailbox. Lo and behold the tell tale email from the party worm. AVG didn't pick it up. I shut outlook down and updated avg. When the update was finished i opened outlook again, AVG picked up the worm before outlook was fully loaded! Troy Williams B.Eng.
