hi,

I recieved quite a few emails which destination address are not existing in our domain. for example, our domain is abc.com, the email address is something like net@abc.com, it is supposed to be undeliverable, but how can this kind of email get into my emailbox?

thanks a lot

The send address may be like net@abc.com but may contain a whole bunch of BCC email addresses of which some are valid.

Claudius (What certifications??)

thanks for your reply, but i went through the email header, there is no BCC recipient fields.

You can't see the BCC fields. If it's in your mailbox and you're not the To or the CC, then you're a BCC.

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Yeah, they call it Blind Carbon Copy for a reason. <smile>
