Hi,
I have been able to successfully setup fax console (SBS 2003 running exchange 2003) for incoming faxes such that they are routed to an email. I don't know how to do the reverse. How do I set up exchange so that emails can be faxed out. Any ideas ? Thanks.
If users need to fax out, they'll need to print to the fax printer. So if you have a user who needs to fax something, they'll first need to compose it in a Word Processing or other program and click on File>Print and specify the fax printer.
Thanks. Yes I understand that. What I mean is from Outlook if someone composed an email and attached a doc. Is there a way to fax it out by just sending it via outlook. I have seen where in outlook you can input addresses such as [FAX:15555551234]. How do you set this up to work on the exchange server?
Based on the original post I wasn't sure how much you knew about the faxing process. Obviously you know more about this than I do, as I've never read anything about the FAX:##### function. Therefore I can't help any further.
