Email Sync

Has anyone used this feature to keep remote users sync up with a central database? Does it work well? I am evaluating ACT! and my only interest in it lies with this feature.

I am doing this now. It's a little tricky to setup, but seems to work OK once you get it setup.

Hello bubarooni,
I will have to echo lifegard2. Email sync is the best way to go with ACT! However, you need to go step by step in the initial set-up. DO NOT cut any corners or skip a step when setting up. (I did that once and it took me forever to fix it).

Well, I finally did purchase the 5-user pack in April. I installed it in the first part of May. Right now only two people are using the program. They are both salespeople using the program off their laptops. I am scheduled to sync them up with the database on the server at the end of the month.

Keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll report back after the 4th of July weekend.
