I want to add a fill-in box and a button on a webpage that someone can fill in an email address and click the button to have the email address sent to me so I can then add them to a mailing list. What code do I need on the webpage and what do I need to add to my website server to accomplish? I am not sure exactly what this is called so I am having trouble trying to find out how to do this.

I'd do a search on Google for "formmail". Maybe even "formmail xxx", where "xxx" is the server-side technology that you can use on your server (so asp, jsp, ,cgi, php, etc).

If you use PHP you can use the PHP mail module with relative ease (your hosting ISP may have this enabled and configured). It's processed server-side.
