Email status Read/Unread on public folder

Hi,

I have an Exchange Server 2003 Sp2, I have unset on all public folders the read/unread status individualy for each user.

But when I set to read a message on the public folder is not set for all user and anyone know that this message was already read.

I use OWA to access at mailbox.

Anyone have some suggestion for me?
