how can i restrict the users sending large emails?
can I set this up for everyone?
can i set this for individuals?

I hope you`re using sendmail...
This is for 1.5Mbyte max.
1.- Edit file /usr/lib/sendmail-cf/cf/sendmail.mc
2.- Find this line and change the size:
O MaxMessageSize=1500000

Global size restriction

Thanks for the info! Not to sound two stupid but can I adjust that either way to increase or decrease.

Yes, you can modify the sizelimit to whatever you feel appropriate :)
