I have a user, who uses an Outlook 2000 client, installed to Windows XP Pro, and connects to an Exchange 2000 server to receive his email.
The client is setup to use personal folders, *.pst, so that all new email is delivered to the PST file from the mailbox inbox. However, for some reason, especially with smaller messages, new emails seem to be 'held up' in the mailbox inbox and are not delivered to the inbox in Personal Folders automatically. The user has to manually press the F5 key or use Tools -> Send/Receive to get new email to be delivered to the inbox in Personal Folders.
Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you successfully resolve it?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.
