Hello Mas 90 Users!

Is anyone out there sending out hundreds of sales orders and invoices from Mas 90 as text email on a weekly basis? How are you doing it? Are you using Business Alerts to do this? We tried using the MS Office link, but it's way too slow.

We need to be able to automate these emails so that invoices in a particular batch can be sent out to the customer email address that is associated with each invoice.

We also need to be able to automatically email sales orders when they are put on hold, with specific order information (including hold reason)in the body of the email message.

We don't want to be sending out PDF attachments, just text in the body of an email message.

Thanks for any insight you may be able to share!

Best Wishes,
Kristin

There is a great product out there for this called Knowledgesync. I hope you are using Mas 200 (the SQL version) hoever this will work for the Mas 90 Providex database too, just not nearly as quickly.

Hi dgillz,

Thanks for the reference to Knowledgesync. I couldn't find much info on their website about their Mas 90 enhancement.

We are already using a Mas 90 modification and are concerned about using too many different developers. We afraid of having "too many cooks in the kitchen". And too many fingers to point to when something goes wrong...

Does anyone out there have experience with Best's Business Alerts enhancement?

We're currently using Mas 90 version 3.71. We have not yet upgraded to Mas 200 SQL.

Thanks! Kristin

KnowledgeSync is not a modification of Mas90, or of any other program. It is an ODBC based event management tool. In fact you could trash Mas90 altogether and still use KnowledgeSync with your next software program, provided that it is ODBC compliant.

So bottom line, there is no chance that installing KnowledgeSynce will mess up your Mas90 database, installation or functioning of the Mas90 program and/or 3rd party programs.

Thanks for your recommendations, dgillz.
I'm looking into KnowledgeSync!

Best, Kristin
