I have been asked to setup an email roundtable service for the company I work with. They want the service to work like this:

1. Someone sends an email with a question to some address (say 'rt@dom.com').
2. The email is retrieved by either an email client or server.
3. The email is routed to all members within a given list or address book.
4. Each reply is treated the same.

I am trying to avoid the need to setup an internal exchange server, but have the licensing available is this is the best way to do it.

Does anyone know of a service provider or type of setup that might work best for this? I'd imagine there has got to be an email roundtable service provider out there.

Thanks for any response!

We are currently being hosted with an iMail control panel on the email side. We have a virtual dedicated plan, and I've never seen an option for any specialized mail setup. I suppose I'll need to contact them to get some more info/options.

I appreciate the input so far, as I was unaware of MRAs being a possibility. I imagine this being the most feasible solution.

iMail should support it. Each company seems to have named the feature something different. SmarterMail called it the MRA and since that was what we used for a long time, I got used to calling it that. I think Exchange just calls it a group.

Looking at the What's New, they have something called
Ability to add new users to multiple aliases and lists
