Is there an easy way to insert high-res photos as low-res photos in outlook so that they don't take forever to email. I would like to do this without another program if possible.

The question doesn't make sense, either it's a hi-res photo or a lo-res photo.

Most photos are jpeg's which are inherently compressed.
You could try to zip them, but they will probably end up larger than the original.
