Email Option - disable send email to users

Whenever a virus is found in an email message, the virus is stripped and replaced with an inoculateit alert txt file and sent to the recipient. is there a way to disable this so once a virus is found, it will just delete the email? Users are complaining they get too many a day and just don't want them.
