I need to email 10 pages out of a 12-page PDF document to somebody, while the other two pages I prefer not to disclose to the receiver. How should I do it ? In theory I know I can print them out and scan the 10 pages that I want to send. But I don't know the details about how to convert a hard copy into a PDF. I have both Acrobat 7 and Acrobat reader. Thank you.

Open in Acrobat, not Reader.

Go to Document menu/Pages/Extract. Select the pages you want to extract, making sure you don't check the box to delete them from original. A new pdf doc will appear on your screen entitled "Pages from.....".

Save that with correct name.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
