Hi,

This is probably a simple job, but I cant see to figure it out!

I have a customer running Backup Exec v9.1 on a Windows 2003 server, that is backing up a Windows 2000/Exchange 2000 remote server.

The backup is running fine, however.

The customer wants the job results mailed to them each day. So in the job setup I have added the user name and email address to have the job log emailed to them each day, but backup exec never emails them.

I am missing nay thing really simple here?? If any one had come across any good tech docs on this or knows how to do it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Its ok everyone!

Its fixed now! Must make a mental note not to trust the server names the customers give me!

I would like to know what I am doing wrong; I am having a similar issue except that I have configure the properties right in BE to send e-mail to a designated folder under public folder in Outlook, it will send reports to my e-mail account but not the folder. Is it possible or am I missing something? Appreciate any feed back.

Thanks,

Tom
