Can't seem to find exactly how to setup email notification.
When a particular subscriber receivew a voice mail message, I want it to email notification. Is this a user defined destination, or must I set it through subscriber management, and if so, how do I? We have Avaya Modular messaging and an S8720...

Boy, must be Monday morning, let me restate: I have a "help desk" mailbox. What I would like is to have this mailbox, upon receiving new voice mail, send an email notification. Is this possible or do I have to get some evmNotify software, or something like that?

Thanks and sorry for the first entry.

You should be able to set this up under the Assistant tab in the Subscriber Options...

Thanks,
CJH

When I try to launch subscriber options, I get a popup window that asks if I want to save a file, I do, and it doesn't seem to change anything...what's up?

Have you installed the thick client on your machine? If so, can you go to Start - Programs - Avaya Modular Messaging - Subscriber Options?

Thanks,
CJH

All I have there is CMS, I am now helping another telecom guy who is remote to here. I do not have any Modular Messaging software at all, is there something I can download?

I believe you'll need an SSO login to get that software.

Perhaps your BP can get it for you.

Maybe this will work:

If you log onto your MAS, then HTTP onto your MSS, you can edit subscriber, and at the bottom of the form, you'll see a Launch Subscriber Options from there... Then you can use the Assistant tab to set your email notification.

Thanks,
CJH
