I thought there was a way to filter which messages create notification?

Basically the notify me rule, says, "When schedule always is active, if any new messages with any importance from anyone have arrived...."

When we choose anyone, we can only choose subscribers or networked subscribers. I thought there was a way to choose from external/internal or specific caller-id numbers.
