Email notification from Partner Messaging System

Is there a way to have the Partner Messaging System notify a person when a voicemail message has been left in their mailbox? If not is there 3rd party software that will do this?

The document listed 1043 details set up for smtp, but you say it requires exchange, and I am confused. I am having some trouble setting this up via isp smtp server to third party em server, any further input would be appreciated. isp tells me their logs do not see my em hit their smtp mail server to forward to the third poarty, any suggestions?

Partner doesnt work like IPO, I wonder if you tried to do a virtual smtp server to forward to the 3rd party email server.... Just s thought.

I have set this up both ways. With exchange and with just SMTP. Both work but the exchange is unified with the VM box. SMTP just forwards the message.
