Email Newsletter Bookmarks

Can you please offer advice on how to code bookmarks that can be used in an E-Mail Newsletter?
I am designing the page, uploading to a website and using "Send Page by Email"
Coding ordinary bookmarks will not take the user down the page when viewing in the email application (Outlook) but instead opens up the browser and displays it on the website.

What is your definition of a bookmark?

Taking "the user down the page" sounds like you mean anchors.

If you are truly referring to making bookmarks, this process involves javascript. Few mail clients allow javascript.
