I want to implement an email marketing campaign using customers already in our database. I want to pull data from the customer's record to insert in the text of the email, such as name, type of vehicle the customer owns, and other personalizing information

It's no problem for me to do this for one record and one email, but I haven't a clue how to approach it for several hundred records at a time. I can easily create the recordset of the target email addresses, but I'm looking for any guidance anyone can offer on how to conduct an email marketing campaign.

As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do it with SendObject fron the record of interest. The problem (well, the problem relative to this question) is that it only populates with that specific record's information.

Thanks for the links to both of you. I haven't had a chance to review them yet but I will shortly.

I can easily create the recordset of the target email addresses" [E-mail] "only populates with that specific record's information"

If you can create a recordset with all fields needed for you e-mail: not only e-mail addresses, but also "name, type of vehicle the customer owns, and other personalizing information" - you can loop/go down the recordset and create an e-mail for every record.

Have fun.
